Kefir: The Secret Slavic Drink for Weight Loss

Kefir, a great drink, especially if you get used to drinking it in its natural form. forget about strawberry or vanilla flavored ones, they’re full of sugar and stuff…For the secret drink to work, it’s made from 100% real kefir, the kind that’s bitter but worth it. Kefir is a naturally fermented drink, which makes it a natural probiotic, and we all know that’s super helpful.

What is this kefir made with?

Kefir is easy to make, even at home, you only need a special sponge for kefir (yes, a sponge, it is also used for kombucha), and we need a sponge and fresh milk. We put the milk in a glass container, you didn’t even think to use metal, spoons, forks and the like… just glass and wooden spoons. Kefira is slightly bitter. The mushroom looks like cottage cheese. Mixing the mushroom with the milk, we let it sit for at least 24 hours in a warm room and then strain it with a strainer or cheesecloth….the easier way is to buy it at Target or Whlole Foods.

Here’s the secret drink….. it may sound gross but it works, I’ve tried it….

We take 250 ml of kefir and put it in a blender, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 1 tablespoon of ginger powder and mix in the blender. This is one dose, you take it after a meal.

Without changing your diet much, you can lose 4-6 pounds in a month, guaranteed. However, if you replace a meal with this drink, the result will be WOW!!!

You can do it for 1 month and then rest. The ingredients can affect your blood sugar, so don’t starve, eat properly, regularly and sensibly!

Now just to mention that ginger is hot, it can irritate your stomach or give you reflux, so be careful and consult a professional before trying anything on the internet. Otherwise, overall a great drink as long as you don’t have a stomach problem.
